You can gather information about your stakeholder groups in many different ways. The How Do You Gain Insights from Stakeholders? section in chapter 6 provides a variety of options for connecting with stakeholders. Each conversation or survey will give you new insights into the best possible way to serve your community.

For this sample project we decided to focus on the Interviews exercise. Looking at our stakeholder groups, we started brainstorming more specifics about whom we wanted to interview:

› Teachers

› School administrators

› After-school staff

› Parents/caregivers

› Community program leaders

› Library media specialists

› Library staff

› Technology experts

› Students in third through seventh grades

› High school students
